It is: http://mapping.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html --part0_916082234_boundary Content-ID: <0_916082234@inet_out.mail.aol.com.2> Content-type: message/rfc822 Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Content-disposition: inline From: JNMBARNES@aol.com Return-path: <JNMBARNES@aol.com> To: Cnfb@aol.com Cc: Indian-Territory-Roots-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: Cemeteries/Clarermore and Owasso Date: Mon, 11 Jan 1999 13:56:34 EST Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit The site listed below is the Geographical Names Information System. If you choose Rogers for county, Oklahoma for state and cemetery for feature it will list all of the known cemeteries in that county. It will give you the location by longitude and latitude and will also produce a map showing the precise location. Some of the cemeteries between Claremore and Owasso would be, Chambers (2), Marshall, Sandridge, Bushyhead, Wann, Wofford and Riverhill. If you have Delorme's Atlas 5.0 or Atlas 6.0 map CD, all of the GNIS named items are noted on the map(s) with some symbol or name. In the case of cemeteries it is a small cross with no name attached. You can reverse the search by noting the Long. and Lat. of a cross then find it on the GNIS listing, then verify by having it show it's map location. --part0_916082234_boundary--
