with out knowing which roll his number came from I checked the miller roll and 4821 had george p. samuels. page 260. sam jordan on miller roll had number 33443 on page 161 in i.t.[okla]. do you have is parents names? if he was born in 1912 his parents would have been the ones to qualify on the other rolls.and he would be listed with the family. the baker in 1924 has 12 jordans, none 12 yrs old and no sam or david. I did find a samuel jordan with the application number 4821 for the old settlers roll.[1896] [cherokee] [okla] other jordans with the same application number: noah sr and noah jr,thomas franklin, william. you can get the applications [copies] thru the national archives in fort worth microfilmM1650. hope this helps I didn't seee if the applications were denied or granted. good luck patti Indian-Territory-Roots-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: Indian-Territory-Roots-D Digest Volume 05 : Issue 77 Today's Topics: #1 looking for ancestors ["cora miller" ] Administrivia: ==== Indian-Territory-Roots Mailing List ==== To unsubscribe, send an e-mail to: Indian-Territory-Roots-D-request@rootsweb.com Include only one word in the body of the message: unsubscribe ______________________________Date: Tue, 27 Dec 2005 19:41:07 -0600 From: "cora miller" <coram@cableone.net> To: Indian-Territory-Roots-L@rootsweb.com Subject: looking for ancestors I am looking for my ancestors who may have been cherokee blood.
