    3. I am looking for which of my direct ancestors married into the Cherokee Tribes. My Father James William Childers is listed on the Final Dawes Rolls as 1/4 but I cannot establish clearly which of his grandfathers (or grandmothers) was the original Cherokee. I would truly appreciate any help or suggestions. David M. Childers
