The US Geological Service website for GNIS (Geographic Name Information System) shows Newby OK to be in Creek County, a few miles just about straight south of the town of Bristow. I can't find it as being shown on my OK map, but the GNIS shows its location to be as above described. ----- Original Message ----- From: Liz & Kevin <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, April 02, 2001 9:23 AM Subject: Re: [IT ROOTS] Newby > ??? > I don't have cable or anything I also have not heard of Newby,Oklahoma > however that doesn't mean it doesn't exist Id like to know also. <SNIP>

Try http://www.rootsweb.com/~okcreek/creekmap.htm several maps that show the Newby town and Newby Township area. mg
