I have a couple of questions, maybe someone can answer. 1. In 1900 census, Choctaw Nation, I found my ggreat grandfather today. He was listed as white and owned his farm. In 1900 (I know this was during the Dawes) Could a white man own his farm there? This was in District 5, SD73, ED 79, any ideas where district (division??) 5 was located? 2. In 1900 census, Choctaw Nation, I found my ggrandfather and several members of the family. They were in Division 6, SD 73, ED 79. Any ideas as to where this would have been? There were no townships or ranges that I found and checked several pages before and after the above locations. Any ideas how I can pin down these locations so I can check in relation to todays locations? Thanks for any help, guidance. Ethel Taylor
