    3. I sort of remember a story like that around Gibson Station or Warbuck just north of Muskogee. The names sound familiar. They rushed the house on a stormy night and killed both of them I think. There was a trial and they got off because it couldn't be proved. I forgot where I found that story, but check with the Muskogee Library. They have a good Gen section.
