    1. [IT ROOTS] Kitchens/Wilson/Brown Genealogy
    2. Jim Brown
    3. My name is James Brown and I try to get some information on my great grandmother Caroline Pearl? Wilson. As far as I know Caroline was born on March 17th 1892 near Lindsay (Erin Springs?) Indian Territory to Rebecca Wilson (maidenname Kitchens) from Texas who was supposed to be American Indian and James Wilson from Ireland. Caroline also was supposed to have a roll number. I don't know much about her parents Rebecca and James. It seems Rebecca was born in Texas (Rebecca Pearl? Kitchens) and married -if correct- James Wilson on April 16th 1882 in Cooke County, Texas. James Wilson was scotch/irish , served during the Civil War for the Union and was married before in Arkansas and there were Jim, John, Alice and Viola and another girl they sent to Norman,OK (because she was epileptic) with his first family. Rebecca and James had three children. William Wilson was born in 1884, my great grandmother Caroline in 1892 and Bryan Wilson in 1895. Rebecca died during Bryans birth. She is supposed to be buried in Potawotamie County, OK. All three are named in the 1910 Census. The census reads: Grady County, Harrison Township, Enumerator is James Mosley, Supervisors District no. 5, Enumeration District no. 103, Sheet no. 7 B - William Wilson as head married with wife Pearl E. and 2 daughters and 1 son, Caroline Wilson as sister, single and Bryan Wilson as orphan. I don't know what happened to my great great grandfather James Wilson. He is not named in this census. Caroline was married to Columbus Coleman Brown at Sandy Grove School, Grady County, on July 30th 1911 by John Wilson as Justice of Peace and Mrs. Anderson or Andrews as a witness. They had 4 children. Cleo Coleman Brown was born June 29th, 1912, Garland O'Bryan Brown born July 25th 1914, James Benjamin Brown born June 11th 1921 and Ruth Pearl Brown born December 16th 1928. My information is that Caroline died October 29th 1941 and is buried in Washington, McClain County and Columbus died December 15th 1965 and is also buried in Washington, McClain County, OK. Any help with this family would be very greatly appreciated. Thank you [email protected]
