I have in-laws who moved from Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co.,TX after Sep 1888 to Indian Territory, OK before Mar 1890. I do not know where they were in OK but think they went there for the land runs going on about that time. They were still there in May 1897. Oscar Allen Rudolph (BULLOCK or CLARK), he used either one, married on 30 Aug 1887 in Wise Co.,TX to Mississippi Belle BULLOCK, (nee CASTLEMAN) widow of Licugas F. BULLOCK who had died in 1885 in TX. They had 4 small children who I asume went to OK with their mother and new step-father. Families are as follows: (All the info I have) 1st Family: Licugas F. BULLOCK, b. 24 Dec 1852 in TX, d. 1885 in Eastland, Eastland Co.,TX married 1879 (where ??) Mississippi Belle CASTLEMAN, she b. 18 Apr 1861 in Tippah Co.,MS., d. 1930 in TX ??. Their Children: 1. Aaron Lenard BULLOCK, b. 29 Sep 1880 in Cisco,Eastland, TX. m. Lenora ???. He d. 1952. 2.Roxie Maie BULLOCK, b. 15 Jul 1882 in Pella,Wise,TX, m.Robert Charles McCOURTIE 17 Nov 1906. She d. May 1918. 3. Leona Elizabeth BULLOCK, b. 16 Nov 1884 in Pella,Wise,TX, m. Ben Perkins in 1908. 4. Azolie BULLOCK, b. 1886 in Bowie, Montague, TX. d. 1937 2nd Family: Oscar Allen Rudolph (BULLOCK) (CLARK), (BorC), son of A. C. BULLOCK and Martha Hunter, b. 25 Feb 1847 and d. 1898 in Archer City, Archer Co.,TX. Married 30 August 1887 in Wise Co.,TX (Bullock or Clark??) to Licugas's widow. Oscar and Belle's children: 1. Beulah Inez ( B or C). b. 3 Sep 1888 in Ft.Worth, Tarrant,TX, m. Walter ??? Jan 1906. She d. 7 Jun 1950. 2. Nancy Price (B or C), b. 23 Mar 1890 in Indian Territory, OK. m. Ty J. Kennedy and she d. 1952. 3. John Clarence Jerome BULLOCK, he used this name, b. 10 Apr1892 in Indian Territory, OK, m. Carrie Leda Stoutt in TX. He died in Tucson, AZ 1 Dec 1957. NOTES: Her best friend Minnie Lee CROSS was still living around Cumby, TX in the middle 1950's. Carrie died on Mother's day in 1940 leaving two children. She died in Clarendon or Memphis, TX. They had friends/relatives living near there, "on the caprock", maybe their name was Burruss. Clarence cowboyed and had worked on the JA Ranch in that area, also on a ranch NW of Amarillo, TX. In the 1929-1931 time frame they lived in/around Muleshoe, Bailey, TX where two children were born: Clinton Harrison and Marie Jo, whom I married in 1952. 4. Althea G. Bullock (she used this name), b. 13 May 1897 in Indian Territory, OK. m. Tolbert W. Burruss in Oct 1919, he a dispatcher on the railroad. She d. 2 Sep 1968. I need to know lots of things, but mostly: IF A.C. Bullock & Martha Hunter were the parents of Oscar Allen Rudolph (B or C)----where did the CLARK name come from?? Was she his mother by a prior marriage?? Notice he was older (1847-1852) than Belle's first husband, Licugas. Brothers??? Any help on where they lived, worked, went to school, church or anything else in OK will be very much appreciated as will any TX information I can get.
