James and Carla, In the event you don't know this there is a Federal Law on the books letting everyone know it is against the law for anyone to disturb an Indian Grave. Also, there is a book and I've forgotten the name of it but it lists every Cemetery and Funeral Home in USA. They are supposed to keep their records also. One problem though is the fact they sell for about $100. The amazing thing I've found is that Oklahoma did not become a State until November 7, 1907 and they started keeping some records before the older States in the East. Somehow old nosy me found out about this Book and managed to out talk the people out of the previous years book for our Archives(for free). I have quite a Collection. Some dear friends of mine published a 13Volume ( I think)it was on the Cemeteries in Indian Territory and I have this entire set. Tho't I'd try to look up that one which has been mentioned..Oleta On Sun, 1 Oct 2006 22:01:48 -0500 "James Brown" <patton14@crosstel.net> writes: > My opinion is this burial would have definately been handled by a > funeral > home.
