    3. To JES and others- The Cherokees who left the Tribe. going into Arkansas were given the opportunity to join those on the Trail of Tears and would then be a part of the Tribe again. These were the ones called TheOld Settlers. They were not removed from Arkansas however many of them did join the Trail when they came through Arkansas and did come on into Indian Territory.I've never heard of any Cherokee coming into Indian Territory prior to TOT. As far as the Keetoowah Band is concerned that was originally only Full B loods. Oleta E.
