I have been told that my GGGrandmother may have belonged to the Tutelo tribe. Is there any way to find a list of any people descending from the Indians who lived in Viginia? I am told that they mixed with the Cherokee and lived on the Rappahannock River somewhere near Sperryville, and Little Washington,Virginia. She was born 1836 and her name was RED WING (aka ELIZA J. DODSON; and was married to JOHN T. DODSON in about 1865...so she may have been married to someone earlier than that;since she was 31 when she had my GGrandfather TURNER ASHBY DODSON in 1867.
