Still looking for any information on A.L.Cooper last known residence was South Canadian Indian Territory,Oklahoma 1890-1892 when son Charles Cooper was a dopted by JOhn William DeHart in S.McAlester,with legaL NAME CHANGE TO DEHART.JOhn DEHArt also owned several General Merchant stores,POteau,Leflore,Holdinville,Kennaday.then baught a farm on "Goat Ridge'' where he raised veg.live stoke and tobacco,some cotton.JOhns family was from Patrick co,Wv,moved there for mineing may have owned a small farm,died when John DeHart and Brother,were very young,took in by good family friends maybe HALL,moved to Ark.Oklahoma.JOhns wife was Elizabeth Haynes(hanes)DeHart twin sister Becky Haynes-Robertson....last address on THese DeHarts is Wister,oklahoma.Any help tracying DEHarts and the Cooper,Haynes appreciated.Tammy [email protected]
