Thanks everyone on advice about soundex. You would not believe the library in our community, it looks like all the books were donated in the 50's and 60's and not much new since then. In fact I donate all the books I purchase to local branch. Unfortunately for me the nearest LDS is about 50 miles away and so far the hours conflict with my work hours. And I thought I was moving to big city when left panhandle of Florida for central. :) Carol
