Dear Listers , For those persons seeking information about Choctaw relatives , there is an excellent site under roots web dot com Oklahoma for Atoka County Oklahoma. This was the seat , I believe of the Choctaw Nation . There are census and marriage and asundry records on line for that site in Atoka County Oklahoma. Oklahoma City has the state archives for information on many of the tribes.
