Larry- That would be "Wyandotte I.T." which was in the Quapaw Agency Land District (see map at http://www.rootsweb.com/~itquapaw/index.htm ). It is now located in Ottawa County OK. If you haven't already done so, you might want to search for them on the 1900 Indian Territory census Soundex and when you locate what nation they were living in, then view the entire information on the actual census page. That census actually lists more information than the 1910 or the 1920 census. Best jc

That was my first guess too. I believe there is also a Wayandotte in southern Kansas, I don't recall whether it was still Indian Territory at that date; just a fallback if the first doesn't work. > >If you haven't already done so, you might want to search for them on the 1900 Indian >Territory census Soundex and when you locate what nation they were living in, then >view the entire information on the actual census page. That raises a question for me. I've heard of Soundex before, but I'm not sure what it is. Do you know of a site that I can access for information? thanks, john
