All of my ancestors lived in Pickens Co, I believe that Pickens encompassed some if not all of the Chickasaw Nation boundary along the Red River now the counties of Love, Carter Jefferson, Stephens, Grady, and Garvin. Would be most appreciative if anyone knows where I could search for records of people who lived in Pickens CO. I have been able to search the 1900 US census and found Pickens Co in the Chickasaw Nation.
