Hi, I've been lurking around sometime now and still haven't even gotten a glimpse of anything that even remotely looks familiar. I'll throw this out there and see if anything hooks up. Family oral tradition told that SARAH ANN LOCKE was an Cherokee Indian Princess, with the name of "Morning Star" and that her father, DICKERSON LOCKE, was a chief "CHIEF THUNDERCLOUD". FRANCIS MARION TERRY married SARAH ANN LOCKE they had two daughters Celey Pearl and Rebecca. The LOCKE's supposedly came out of S. C. The girls were born in Mississippi. Celey Pearl was born in 1853. They were in Hackett, Sebastian Co. Ark in 1868 where Frank Terry was blinded in a well explosion and later died. Sarah Ann Locke TERRY moved to Franklin co. Ark. and worked as a cook for the RR.
