I hope that this isn't considered an inappropriate post. Sometime in early 98, I was sent a couple of pages from The History of Adair County. The pages contained some information on to of my GGparents. I wrote to the Adair Gen. Society to see if I could purchase a copy of the booklet. I never received a reply. Two days ago, I recognized my label that I had put on an envelope with a .32 stamp. A .1 had been added and I received a letter saying that by popular demand, there was going to be a reprinting of the History. However, the cost and mailing is to be $50.. If someone has a copy of this History, I would like to e-mail some names of other ancestors to see if they are in this History. I don't want to spend $50 and get a history that only has information on the two GGparents that I already know about. I think there might be other ancestors that lived or past through Adair but I hate to shell out that kind of money to find that they are not mentioned. TIA Keith Lowrey
