You can get better results by looking at the 1900 Indian Territory census Soundex for the name "Birdsong" (Soundex code would be B-632) -- that will give every person who is listed on the 1900 Indian Territory census, and will tell you which Indian nation they were living in, and you can order the census for that nation. jc
