I am seeking birth date and place for Lee/Lena/Leona Simms. She married A. G. Shipman on 05 Jan 1885 in Cooke Co TX. She gave birth to 6 children: Burt, Thad "Pat", Julian Guy "Babe", Ora, Jack and Lee. She died about six months after giving birth to Lee in 1897 in the Abner community in what is now Love Co OK. I have her marriage record and her on an undated Chickasaw names list in Ardmore, Ok and on the 1890 Chickasaw Nation census. According to family sources, her father was Ben Simms and her mother was named Sophie. According to oral history, Leona was first cousin to Will Rogers' mother. I would appreciate any help.
