Thanks, Jerri, for posting the Rootsweb message. The good people who give us Rootsweb are probably too nice, as they exert no pressure on those 93% who fail to contribute, but continue to take. I know that there is a small percentage of those who simply cannot afford to send $12. But most of that 93% go to movies, have TV cable, eat out, subscribe to magazines, and engage in a lot of other discretionary spending, and they simply make a choice not to support Rootsweb, even though it is about the best bargain I have found. I am happy to send in a little extra to support those who really can't afford it, but I am always happy when someone gives a nudge to the large majority who could contribute but don't.
