I just ordered a book from Amazon.com "Cherokee Connections" by Myra Vanderpool Gormley. I find this book extremely helpful with detailed list of where to go to look for names, census, etc. It is small, easy to read and extremely helpful with interesting insights into Cherokee culture as well. I'm finding it very helpful in my ongoing search for gggrandfather. Good luck. Mary ou
