In 1902, Americus, Merick Greener formerly of Henderson Co, TN sells property left by his father in Henderson Co. Recorded in the Henderson Co deed book, J. S. Worthy, notary public for the southern district, Indian Territory Chickasaw nation, affirms that Americus Greener did execute the deed of sell. This is dated 24 Oct 1902. I am trying to locate anything about this Americus. He had a brother named Columbus who at the same time resided in Grayson Co, TX. Their father had died and property was being dispensed. Family story is that their grandmother was full blood Indian - Cherokee or Chickasaw.
