Tim, The only Mathew Green listed on the 1860 census index of AR was living in Monroe County and is shown on page 819 of the microfilm for that county. The 1870 index shown a Mathew L. Green, living in Independence Co AR, page 131- and a Matt Green, living in Pulaski Co, page 290. jc Tim Walls wrote: "I found out that my ggrandmother told my grandmother that she thought she had been born in Indian Territory or in Arkansas."
