I am looking for my great great grandfather, Charles Batholomew KITCHENS b. 1839 GA. He was supposedly seen in Indian Territory sometime between 1870-1890 by a friend of his son in AR, Henry Lee Obediah KITCHENS. He told Henry he had seen his dad with an Indian wife who ran a hotel and that Charles ran a draying/braying business and that they had some kids. He had served in the civil war for the state of GA, 3rd GA Newton county young guards Vol INF Co. H. He didn't return home when the war was over, to Newton county, until some years later, stayed around a while (prob. getting divorce papers signed) and then left again. Henry b. 1864 never saw him again. I am looking for someone who knows any KITCHENS' in that part of OK who had an ancestors named Charles Bartholomew KITCHENS, son of Benjamin E. KITCHENS and Elizabeth PEAK of GA. Henry Lee's mother was named Elizabeth C. LUMSDEN KITCHENS and she moved her family, Julia L.
