(FIELDS) SMITH - born December 19, 1837 in Benton, County, AR; died January 13, 1883 in Benton, County, AR; buried in FIELDS Cemetary. James SMITH - born January 1829 in place unknown; died September 19, 1858; buried in FIELDS Cemetary. Martha Emeline (FIELDS)(SIMMONS) HORSLEY - born 1/26/1840 Benton County, AR; died; 8/6/1919 in ? - buried in FIELDS Cemetary. Henry J. SMITH - born 1856 in unknown place; died February 09, 1910 in place unknown. Elsie Ann ISOM - born February 17, 1868 in KY; died, unknown. My grandmother was Alice Dove (SMITH) CLIFTON ((b. 9/15/1898 in Afton, OK - d. abt. 1967 in Colorado; Dawes # 28532; Miller # 24810) She married James Thomas CLIFTON (b. 9/1/1893 in Ft. Gibson, OK - d.9/30/1965 in CO.) She was the daughter of Henry J. SMITH (Dawes #28531, Dawes app. #24955). Henry was the son of Margaret E. FIELDS and James SMITH. Margaret's father was Moses FIELDS and her mother, Mahala CADLE. Moses was the son of Richard FIELDS, Jr., and Elizabeth HICKS; and Richard, Jr. was the son of Richard FIELDS and Susannah EMORY.
