Thank you for your advise. Rejeania >> Hi...I have people who were in Nowata County, Indian territory, too. ( BALDWIN, REED, HINES(CHAPMAN,too), especially in Okadale and Wann area). I have had great difficulties finding stuff....but did got to the court house for records search(didn't finf anything) you might try to tribe who controlled that section of the territory...this was the "Coo-wee-scoo-wee" district controlled by the Cherokee Indians.
