The first wife of David came from MS.. The Betts of Atoka, Caddo, Bokchito and Durant are my relatives. David was the progenitor of them all. He had three wives, and had children by all. He was a white man from NY> His first and only son by the first wife, Ramsey, was my g-gf. Ramsey married a descendant of the Durants. They later moved to Atoka County where they rec'd their allotment. Ramsey was a Baptist preacher and founded the Philadelphia Baptist Church about a mile west of the town of Blue.
