Any information on the following person will be appreciated. ANNIE BEAVERS. I found some names on the rolls that seem to match, but i am unsure. She was the great grand mother of my friend, and she died in Bakersfield California. All living family declare her to be a full blood Cherokee woman. Family oral history : She owned a house of prostitution--late 1800's--somewhere outside of Tulsa Oklahoma--there were stories about her in the local newspapers.
