HELP !!! Can anyone tell me where to find out about the work permits people were supposed to have to be in the Indian Territory during the period 1888 - 1900 ?? Or the census or tax records, school records or ANY records for that period ?? I have three people in the line I'm researching who were born in Indian Territory and do NOT know which COUNTY it is now. I suspect they just got born there to frustrate me. Ho Well it sure did work. Two older children: Aaron Lenard BULLOCK & Roxie Maie BULLOCK may have been in school. Three children: 1. Nancy Price BULLOCK, b. 23 March 1890, 2. John Clarence Jerome BULLOCK, b. 10 April 1892, 3. Althea G. BULLOCK, b. 13 May 1897. The family lived in Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co.,TX just before they went there and moved back to TX somewhere just afterward. Any help will be greatly appreciated. On a previous query a responder told me about the work permit requirement. Someone, somewhere must have some records, I'd sure like to know who and where, then how can I get them or see them.
