I'm new to this list and I'm looking for information on my gggrandfather & gggrandfather both named William Shade who moved from Alabama to Vian, Oklahoma around 1906-07. They lived near the Cookston Hills. The senior Shade was murdered by a man (name unknown) that was sentenced to Alister prison. I do not know that man's name or the amount of time he received. If anyone can point me in a direction where I can locate any information I would appreciate it.
