I am looking for the grave of my ggg grandmother Sarah Katharine McKee, she died in the town of Dewar, McIntosh County back in 1914. It's been said she's full blooded Cherokee but I have found nothing to back it up. I have looked in all the cemetery in McIntosh County and have not found her. From the death Certificate I had gotten it said she was buried near the numb 5 mine there in Dewar. Does anyone know anything about that. While surfing the net I came across some maps for 1915 and it shows that a small part of McIntosh was Cherokee Nation and the rest was Creek Nation. If anyone can help me I would be most grateful. J.
