I am new at this search for my roots. I have been reading the Indian-Territory emails now for the past three months. It scares me to think that as people who are searching for their past, that we have not progressed to accepted others for who they are. We seem to be repeating many of the same prejudice as our ancestries did. I can't prove that my grandparents were part Indian. Yet, I know in my heart and mind that I am part of their heritage that they seemed so hard to hide, because of the prejudice of some people. As adults where does it end. I thought this web site was meant to help those of us, who hold that thin line of hoping one day to just prove that we are apart of the such a wonderful culture. Linda Missouri
