There are some very knowledgeable people on this list and I thought they may be able to help. The surnames I am researching are WALLER, SQUIRES, BEARD, PLETCHER & SMITH. All in Oklahoma/IT. My question is does anyone know anything about the Sac & Fox Nation? I cannot find anything! Also, Yellow, thank you for your explanation on the Bowen & Ward families, my cousins are Bowens and still live in OKC. I am sorry I do not have any information for you, I will look. JC, thank you for the information about the Chickasaw & Choctaws. My Waller family lived in the Choctaw Nation, I will need to keep this in mind.
