I just recently got his confederate pension papers and his name is listed as Samuel. His father and mother first show up in Missouri in the early. According to an older family member they had a large family of which Samuel was the youngest. We haven't been able to find them on any census for that area. A cousin has paperwork that shows their names were George Washington Curry b. TN m. Elizabeth Jennings. b. GA. I saw a marriage record somewhere yesterday for a William Currey & Elizabeth Ivey.
