    3. Paula, <the book you mentioned. Is it about the CURREYs?> No, it is funeral records in Southwest City, MO. <Let me know where your Currey bunch may have originated> My G-grandfather was Samuel, b. 1843. My family have been searching for something on this line and have kept hitting a brick wall. His name had been listed as GW Currey or George Washington. I just recently got his confederate pension papers and his name is listed as Samuel. His father and mother first show up in Missouri in the early. According to an older family member they had a large family of which Samuel was the youngest. We haven't been able to find them on any census for that area. A cousin has paperwork that shows their names were George Washington Curry b. TN m. Elizabeth Jennings. b. GA. I saw a marriage record somewhere yesterday for a William Currey & Elizabeth Ivey. I have been backtracking trying to find it again, think it must have been yours. I'll keep looking :) Our Currey's are the same, spelled Curry/Currey. Any of this connect with yours? Else
