    1. Mary Headley
    2. I am searching for the burial place of Mary Headley Chalmers. She may have been buried in an unmarked grave, due to the fact that she was a white woman married to a black man when they were shot to death by a mob as reported by the Muskogee Phoenix on March 22, 1898. I would also like to know if someone could do a look up for me; I would like to know if the paper did a follow up story (it was a weekly paper), on those events, such as; where the people who were killed that night would have been buried, and what further action was taken by those who were accused of participating in the killings, and what happened to Mary's 3 year old son, Albert, who later told his children he had been there during the shooting. Thank you to any and all who may be able to shed a little light on this family mystery. Patty Headley
