My families are: Spears (Speer/s), Riley, Hall. Prior to 1840 they lived in the area of Cha-ta-ta Creek, McMinn County, Tennessee. Subsequent to 1840, Indian Territory, Cherokee County was home to above families and adding Cannon (from Missouri, intermarried Cherokee) and Chesnut (from Arkansas, intermarried Cherokee). Specifically searching for the graves of James and Elsie (Foreman) Spears who arrived in Indian Territory 1838-1839 with Old Fields wagon train. Settled in the area of Park Hill/Tahlequah.
