Osiyo, I am researching my grandfather S.J Morgan, his father and mother; James and Manda Morgan. Gloria Brinson I've been searching many years...one lady sent me some info and told me that back during the time my grandfather and his parents were living, if one was Indian, then they would almost always put white (race) in for the census..as well as some would put in black or mulatto..as white people thought being a Indian was bad, and for a Indian to marry a white woman, they frowned upon that too..so Now, I'm at a lost..any help is appreciated..I do have some other info as some dates but not alot..
