Zach and Kate were married 13 Jun 1878 in Pickens County Chickasaw Nation and had the following children. Osiyo, I have my ancestory traced back to Moytoy of the Tsalagi. I am GGGreat Grandson of Robert Benge (Capt Benge, The Bench) who fought as a War Chief under Dragging Canoe. They were some of the last defenders of the Tsalagi in the 1700's. After that they tried to become civilized and live as Euro's. Of course we all know what that got them. (The Trail of Tears) My GGGGreat Uncle John "Wagonmaster" Benge led one of the removal wagon trains, of which the Benge Trail is named for him.
