Smith Grandmother was supposed to be full blood Keener Coleman Forbis Welch Erwin Some of these were living in the Chickasa section. but they claimed to be decendents of the Cherokee tribe. Hi all, I am researching the names of: GUYNES -Choctaw Atoka Co., Okla IT. Henry DOB 1864 died Aug 6, 1902 in open range Okla Indian Territory Atoka Co. Parents John and Amanda (Manda) Guynes. She is listed on the Choctaw rolls as Choctaw and John was listed as white. Both were dead in 1902 Dawes Final Rolls. I can't find any info about these family members (Jonh and Amanda) Henry married Sarah Odgen Guynes somewhere in Texas and moved to Okla Indian Territory sometime in the mid 1880's her parents are Mary E. and George Odgen. Sarah married a man by the name of Henderson sometime soon after my GGrandfather died. She is listed as intermarried white on the rolls census 4207 as the widow of Henry Guynes with the 7 children. I would love to find out more info on her. I have not found anything about her after her marriage. William DOB 1863? He is Henry's brother. Looking for Chickasaw/Choctaw: Kathryn Dora Brown, b. 1913 in Wapanucka, OK Her parents were: Etta Elizabeth Bennett (also known as Ethel) and William Brown. Cherokee: Carver Tripp Netherton Cox Cooper One of my cherokee ancestors apparently willed some land to my great grandmother (Annie Edith Carver) in the early 1900's. searching for GRANT WOLF FIELDS BENGE RITTER (William Ritter was a white man from KY, He had five children with Nana Wolf) CONRAD and other related names. I do know that the Wolf family starting with Dennis Wolf (Youngwolf Conrad's son) moved to the Neutral Lands from Georgia in 1835. they were there at least two generation until sometime around the Civil War. Have Emmet Starr's History of the Cherokee Indian so have been able to go back to Lucovic Grant and Hamilton Conrad but to this date have no accurate dates on birth, death, marriage etc. Linda

Gloria- You might try Coal, Pittsburg and Ottawa Counties.
