"Anthropometric Measurements and Ethnic Affinities of the Bhil and Their Allied Groups of Malwa Area" by Ahmad S.H. & Haq F.; Foreword By Goswami B.B., 1992 seems to be interesting. The review states... The book is a comprehensive anthropometric study on the Bhils of 46 different villages in the districts of Jhabua. Ratlam and West Nimar of Madhya Pradesh. It suggests that the Bhils might have constituted a homogeneous social group in ancient times but during the course of time they have become ethnically heterogeneous due to admixture in varied degrees.
