Thank you for the above information, which seems to settle once and for all the new Maharajas relationship to the Bikaner Royal Family. Have you heard anything about the Maharani being against the new Maharaja which is why the installation was held in the temple and not the palace. Yes. The Maharani as well as her two daughters did not attend the function. Various Kings of Rajasthan also did not attend which they should, if it was to be called the "coronation". Ravi puts it as "Rasam Pagri" which is usual hindu ritual in every family, royal or commoner.
