Pratap Singh and M. Arvind Singhji. When M. Udai Singh died in 1572, the Mewari nobles were dismayed to see that the Maharanas 2nd son, Jagmal, was to be the successor and not the elder (Pratap). When Jagmal was about to ascend the gaddi two nobles firmly grasped one elbow each of Jagmals and escorted him away saying that, there was a mistake and that the gaddi was intended for Pratap. Jagmal had no support and left Mewar trying to get help from the Mughal court. The brothers were apparently later reconciled. The Devi Garh Palace seems to be now owned by Lekha and Anupam Poddar. The descendants of Sajja Singh are numerous and include the Raj Ranas of Delwara and Gogunda (in Mewar) and the Raj of Kunadi (in Kotah). Cheers, Henry
