Information is as follows... Jhajjar was originally given to the Nawab of Farukhnagar, but he was unable to control it adequately, so somehow it went to Nawab Nijabat Ali Khan, who was one of three brothers (father unknown to me), the second brother, Nawab Ismail Khan Lohari, received Bahadurgarh, forfeited in 1857, the third brother, Nawab Fa'iz Talab Khan, was the first Nawab of Pataudi. Nawab Nijabat Ali Khan was followed by Nawab Faiz Muhammed Khan, ruled 1813/1835, succeeded by his son (name unknown to me), who ruled 1835/1845, succeeded by Nawab Abdulrahman Khan, ruled 1845/1857, executed for his part in the Indian War of Independence (the Mutiny),and his state was forfeited. He died 23rd December 1857 in Delhi. Presumably there are descendants, though I have no record of them. Any information would be most welcome. Good luck. Cheers, Henry
