When Ghaznavi was informed that Raja Bhoj was coming with a powerful army and had already blocked his retreat via Rajasthan, he fled to Afghanistan through the Rann of Kachchh and the Thar desert of Rajasthan. As a result much of his army perished in the most inhospitable land due to lack of water and food. He was, further, attacked and plundered by the Bhati Rajputs in the Thar desert. With great difficulty he saved his life and reached Ghazni with the residue force. After that Mehmood never dared look towards India. Raja Bhoj died in 1154 A. D." The writer of these facts must have known that it was King Bhimdev -I Solanki, Chauhan Visaldev, son Of King Dharmgajdev of Ajmer with his uncle Dhundhiraj and Other Rajputs rulers of Rajputana were those who have blocked the pathway of Mahmud. 1 lakh rajput swords were waiting for Muslims to slaughter them and take revenge of Somnath. Because of them, Mahmud was forced to take way from Rann of Katchh, where Chauhan Samant Singh was waiting for him to guide his way to death through the Rann. There was not a single soldier of Bhoj's army in the battle of Somnath or in the bolckage of the return way. The writer have taken all the facts in the favour of a man who have not a single role in these chapter of history.
