Dear All, I am a new member of this group, and feel a little out of place, as my interest in Indian Royalty is of a very much less detailed nature than it is for most of you. I am interested in Indian coins, mostly for the Mughal Successor States, and in Indian history since 1707 AD. The catalogues of these coins often list them by the Mughal emperor in whose name they were struck, but I am interested to know the name of the rulers under whom they were produced, and this information is sometimes hard to come by. For instance, who were the Rajas (Ranas, Maharajas?) of Wanparti and Dilshadabad? My catalogues are silent, but somebody must know, I suppose. That is my first question to the learned membership of this group. Who were the rulers of Wanparti and Narayan Pett? What were their dates?
