His palace "Gyan Bagh" is still well maintained by his family. I suspect the place is known "the estate od Raja Dhanrajgirji" and I think it is a jagir in Hyderabad. No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong. One grand-daughter of the Raja was a Miss India in 1978 and another grand-daughter is married to Indian Tennis star Leander Pais. If anyone can add to the details provided it would be appreciated. Cheers, Henry
As mentioned by Henry, Raja Dhanrajgir was the title given to probably one of the most senior ranking nobility/royalty in the court of the Nizam of Hyderabad. They had very significant territories in the state of Hyderabad and were given the title of Raja. Some of the family lives in Bombay and they have / had a buiding called Dhanrajgir Mahal near the Taj Hotel in Mumbai (right by the Gateway of India).
