Hello list, I wonder if someone could jog my memory. I am sure there has been correspondence previously about the subject, but I wonder if it is possible to get hold of birth, marriage or death certificates for people born etc in India? If so, how do I set about it? I have a Statement of Birth for myself, and also what looks like a certificate of marriage for my grandparents in 1895 - signed by the Constable, and the Chaplain, - but they are not the same as the GRO ones.
