Dear Listers, your help would be appreciated in checking other online sources - I only have access to the 'free' services of LDS Family Search and British Library both of which has proved unsuccessful. The gaps in this family are puzzling to say the least. 1. From the original baptism register of St Mark's Cathedral Bangalore, at George Hubert's baptism, his father George Frederick is shown as Inspector of Police Mysore at 2.2.1899. Does anyone know if there are 'service' directories (ala ones in Hyderabad showing appointments to the Nizam's service) to show when he may have been appointed to that service? George died 25 June 1914 in Hyderabad. Baptism: George Hubert Edwards s/o George Frederick & Isabella Marion Jane Edwards b 2.2.1899 - Inspector of Police Mysore. 2. I am also trying to locate his wife's maiden name.....Isabella Marion Jane (?) no date/place of marriage is known although the first child was born in 1885 so the marriage could have been anytime before that. 3.
