Dear netters, There was a 'Rest-Camp' for the US forces in Karachi during World War II just behind the old Race course. Also the newly built Karachi Port Trust building was taken over and converted into a hospital for the US forces. Many of whom were airmen posted at the Mauripur Drigh Road Airbases.
